7 For we live by faith, not by sight.
Life in the Philippines is never boring. It is hard to comprehend all that has happened in the past few months. Elections, drama…economy, drama...Senate hearings, drama…there is always something going on that makes us wonder, “Why is there so much drama trouble in this world?”
When you look at the world picture, trouble appears in many places. We are not the only nation in crisis. Europe…Africa…the USA...it seems there is never a time when there is total peace on this earth.
This is the point at which our faith is seen.
We have heard many prophetic voices speak over the years about the destiny of the Philippines. We’ve heard that the Philippines is strategically placed in Asia to be a launching pad for ministry to Asia and to the world.
But when political uncertainty comes, does it mean God’s will has changed?
Definitely not. But your feelings must adjust to what you believe and not to what you see. If you believe God’s will is going to be done than no matter what you see, either personally or nationally, you will still speak positively and be at peace.
God is bigger than the problems of the Philippines and the world. How much greater is He than the problems of your life!
Walk by faith. Believe God’s word. That is where security is.
Whatever you are going through, my friend, keep your faith in God.
