1 Thessalonians 4:3-6

3 It is God’s will that you should be sanctified: that you should avoid sexual immorality; 4 that each of you should learn to control your own body[a] in a way that is holy and honorable, 5 not in passionate lust like the pagans, who do not know God; 6 and that in this matter no one should wrong or take advantage of a brother or sister.[b] The Lord will punish all those who commit such sins, as we told you and warned you before.

Are You A Fan Of 50 Shades Of Grey & 50 Shades Of Darker?

Do Like The Movies or Reading The Novels?

Then Here Me Out Of These ....

I write this with great sadness that more and more corrupting media permeate our lives, trying to distract us from the godly goals that we have. This includes the romantic-erotic novels Fifty Shades of Grey & Fifty Shades Of Darker which has been turned into movies.

In the strongest terms possible, I say that Christians have NO BUSINESS watching this sort of films. Anything that has to do with sexual liberality does nothing but pollute our holiness (1 Corinthians 7:1). If you are thinking of seeing this films, think again:

Questions :

How would this help me or hurt me in my walk with God?

Does this help me pursue my spiritual goals?

Would I recommend this to my children?

My relatives?

Could there be a better use of my time and money?

I would never watch this films, nor recommend it to anyone I love.

Such things only promote pornography and corrupting the minds and hearts. I have seen and experienced how it hurts people.

Christians are to avoid these (1 Corinthians 6:18-19) and pursue purity and holiness in every form (1 Peter 1:15; Romans 2:7-8).

Remember that pornography is not a harmless sin. Impurity causes mistrust, loss of confidence, insecurity, and opens the door for greater sins.

1 Thessalonians 4:7 For God did not call us to be impure, but to live a holy life. 8 Therefore, anyone who rejects this instruction does not reject a human being but God, the very God who gives you his Holy Spirit.
