Main Title : Winning and Losing

By Pastor Michael Magbag

Scripture:

Matthew 10:39
New International Version (NIV)

39 Whoever finds their life will lose it, and whoever loses their life for my sake will find it.

No one likes losing. There are no trophies for losers.

But winning is hard. It’s not easy, whether in basketball or in life.
Life may be complex, but one thing is certain; our attitude will make a difference in how you play the game - in how you win or lose.

If you become a consistent winner, it does have something to do with you.
If you become a consistent loser, it has something to do with you too!
Here’s the difference between winners and losers...

  The winner is part of the answer;
  The loser is always part of the problem.
  The winner always has a program;
  The loser always has an excuse.
  The winner says "Let me help you with that."
  The loser says "That's not my job."
  The winner sees an answer to every problem;
  The loser sees a problem for every answer.
  The winner sees a putting green near every sand trap;
  The loser sees two or three sand traps near every green.
  The winner says, "It may be difficult but it's possible;"
  The loser says, "It may be possible but it's too difficult.”

Attitude is everything!

Whether you’re stuck in traffic, or a difficult job, or a troubled relationship, attitude determines the outcome. Nobody enjoys whiners and complainers and negative thinkers/talkers.

Try God’s perspective! Anything worth having is worth working for. Put out the extra effort. Look for the silver lining. Be positive.
Be a Winner!
