God’s Final Word: His Son

1 In the past God spoke to our ancestors through the prophets at many times and in various ways, 2 but in these last days he has spoken to us by his Son, whom he appointed heir of all things, and through whom also he made the universe.

Who are you, really? It’s not who your parents are. It’s not your background. It’s not your social status. It’s not your education, or lack thereof. But it’s who YOU are that matters.

Fifty percent of the CEOs of the world’s largest companies came from poor or lower class income families. In fact, seventy-five percent of 300 of the world’s greatest leaders were either raised in poverty, abused as children or had some physical disability.

I recently read that 80% of America’s millionaires are first generation millionaires. They earned their money!

John Johnson, whose name you have likely never heard, was the great-grandson of an American slave. He was shy, insecure, crooked-legged, wore homemade clothes and was ridiculed in school, but became one of the wealthiest men in the world.

Here’s what John said.  “Men and women are limited not by the place of their birth and not by the color of their skin, but by the size of their hope."

Hope is a Biblical concept that should be rooted in the core of every believer. Hope is everything. To lose hope is to die. 

Hope is often lacking in our hearts. King David said, "Soul, why are you cast down? Put your hope in God.” 

That’s it. Put your hope in God. Nothing in your past or present can limit your future. As long as God exists, (which is forever) we can hope! 

And hope in God will never disappoint us. You can go anywhere from a position of HOPE.
