The story is told of two prisoners sharing a jail cell.

In the top right hand corner of their tiny cell was a small window, about the size of a brick.

Even this small window had bars on it to ensure that the prisoners were securely locked in.

One prisoner looked at the window every night, and admired the stars. They lifted his spirit.

The other prisoner looked at the window every night, and stared at the bars. It destroyed his spirit.

The one saw freedom. The other saw captivity.

Same circumstances.

Different perspective. And different vision.

Proverbs 29:18 says that “where there is no vision, the people perish.” KJV.

Stars?

Or bars?

Lets live 2017 with vision, and purpose, and a positive perspective.

Lets focus on the stars.
